April 2019 will see SOUL Church Senior Pastor & Norwich City FC Chaplain Jon Norman, and Norwich City FC Academy Chaplain Lewis Blois, take on the huge challenge of running seven marathons in seven days. The challenge is being embarked upon to raise money for SOUL Church’s new facilities on Heartsease Lane, Norwich. The new Church building will be a home for SOUL Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that provides a helping hand to those who are most in need within Norwich, the surrounding areas, and internationally. We believe that every person matters.
The Foundation provides food, clothing, education, mentoring, companionship and practical support to homeless and vulnerable men, women and children – support they may not receive from anyone else. SOUL Foundation exists to bring love and hope into broken and lonely lives. We are ‘Love In Action’.
Jon and Lewis are looking for family, friends and local communities to get involved. Why not join them with your own personal challenge of running a half or full marathon on Easter Monday, or you can just come and cheer them on!
The great thing about the seven in seven challenge is you can join in too, it doesn’t have to be running. We would love to see as many of you create your own seven in seven challenge which helps to raise funds towards the £1,000,000 target set. We will communicate in March 2019 how you can set up your own crowdfunding page, which will be linked to the overall seven in seven fundraising event. Thanks for your support!
